The Ravenna Kibbutz

After much complaining and bellyaching about the level of tragedy and tears in current Israeli cinema, we say enough! We will see a classic, FUNNY, Academy Award nominated, Chaim-Topol before-Fiddler-on-the-Roof-fame, movie. You will laugh. You will enjoy seeing Haim Topol and Arik Einstein (that's right, he was also in the movies!). This is a great period piece from the early 1960s and is both funny and somewhat cutting. Directed by famed Israeli satirist Efraim Kishon.
