The Ravenna Kibbutz

We'll gather at 7:30 and at 8:30 we'll begin with the first Kiddush of the new year, followed by the Symbolic Foods Game. Not to be confused with the Round Foods Contest (that's tomorrow night), in the Symbolic Foods Game we bless each other for the year 5771 with Very Terrible Puns! (Think: "May all our ailments be nothing but FIGmints of the imagination.") Honey and apples will be on hand, but we hope to see (and eat) many other Symbolic Foods as well!

This is standard Ravenna Kibbutz potluck. As usual, we'll provide wine, challah, and a kosher-dairy main dish. Please bring vegetarian or kosher-dairy food (main, side, dessert, booze).

Also, who wants to bring some good local honey and/or apples?

Also please feel free to bring weird fruits or veggies so we can make the shehechiyanu blessing on them.
